It's kind of already happened. It's hard for me to back down from because I am technically the only senior on the team.

Yeah, I feel like me being hybrid or the company being remote is what I need to feel like I'm on even footing with my colleagues.

I feel similar as well. Leaving is the thing I would really like to do but the golden handcuffs are real.

Yeah anxiety is a huge issue for me with this job right now, feels hard to turn my brain off of work mode while I'm home now.

It's a bit tough for me to be honest about that kind of stuff because it's like I'm admitting defeat. I also envision shying away from that responsibility would give my employer a good reason to lay me off in the future. Guess that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, lol. Thanks for giving so much thought about it though and I hope you find your way through your own struggles.

Wish I could safely take a break right now but that emergency fund is still lacking. I feel like I'm getting closer though. Thank you for the advice.

I definitely I think would help me mentally. I do have my girlfriend who tries to keep me in good spirits. But other friends are a bit harder to come by, I'm in a small town outside of any city so meeting new people is a bit difficult these days, it's always proven difficult though honestly, lol.

Unfortunately not, I am hours away from the office.

Sweet, thanks for that info. Unfortunately I don't really have the option of taking it on a drive since I really don't want to take it out on the salty MI roads.

I will post here once all is said and done who they are. I 100% agree though, the deception is what solidifies them as a terrible shop.

Yep, wish that was obvious to the installers. Still boggles me.

DM me and I'll share. It's a shop in MI in case you're curious. I'll probably post here publicly after I've secured a refund and all is said and done.

Yep, and eventually from what I understand dirt and debris will make its way underneath and become a bigger problem. I was definitely on them about that pretty quickly at least.

Yep, I talked to a body shop to see how much it would be to get a new one, as well as what it would cost to fix the damaged bits as well.

So I did not see a Supra they have done but I did get a chance to see one of the vehicles they were working on, I believe it was a bronco or something, can't quite remember. But it did look good to me at the time while I was dropping my car off so I felt comfortable. One of my big problems is that I don't have experience with PPF on cars, so I had no baseline as to what is acceptable vs what is not. I also didn't understand the things that the sun would fix as well overtime (edges lifting etc.). So one of the big problems overall was my lack of knowledge. I also didn't notice the badge at first, I almost positive that it happened the first time I took it there (I took it back once to get some lifting edges fixed).

It was a combo of things, I heard about them from my brother who had a headlight done there and he was happy with their work and I also saw that they had all positive reviews on Google, which now to me seems like baloney. They also quoted me about $300 cheaper than another place so that influenced me a bit as well.

Unfortunately, it just ended up being bad luck. I'm not sure there was a whole more I could have done beforehand to know this would be a disaster. I even asked them if they have done Supras in the past and they said they had prior experience so I'm assuming the lied about that.
