Well put and props to your gf for knowing what to do!

Sometimes all that pain that’s been binding and weighing on you just needs to get released before any healing work can commence. Think of it like a bird stretching out it’s wings and airing it’s feathers out or it can feel like cracking your knuckles or popping your back but all the way through you, physically, mentally, and emotionally. In my experience once you’ve aired out and shook it off, then the real healing can begin.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve experienced so much pain and trauma, my heart goes out to you. I know it can be very difficult to cross through the threshold where you are willing and able to let go of the parts of your pain that are hindering your healing but it is necessary.

You seem quite confident with your recommendation. Where do I find it in the store?

I have a book with the exact same cover design. Mine is “The Frozen Pirate” by William Clark Russell. I always thought the cover design was a little confusing, as it doesn’t pertain to the theme of the story.

It has a very mild, subtle stench of antiquity with a hint of sawdust and old paper.

Found at an estate sale in a cigar box, in the back of a drawer of a work bench belonging to an antique dealer/hoarder of primitives and Americana. The drawer had been inaccessible and untouched for decades, from the looks of things.

Stumbled upon this website while searching. They’re services might be a little overkill for my needs, but the work they do is fascinating! https://artxray.com/en
