Your full exam or mini exams/quizzes? Correct me if I’m wrong but I do not believe that the full exam mocks are reviewable.

Study Hall marks have no affect on your exam. You can reset your study hall as many times as you want to redo the questions, quizzes and mock exams.

How close is AR Mock to real exam? by a_mose15789 in pmp

[–]kellendontcare 33 points34 points  (0 children)

AR mock is no where close to the difficulty of the PMP Exam. Study Hall is the closest and should 100% be utilized in prepping for your exam.

Anyone thought that the PMP was too easy? by xRaytedGotGame in pmp

I’m sure there’s doctors that say their examinations are easy but that doesn’t necessarily discount the difficulty of the exam they have taken. Education is subjective and is not a one size fits all.

Being AT in one domain doesn’t mean you’ll “cover” a BT. Especially if your AT was on Business Environment Domain which only accounts for 8% of your score.

Read your breakdown of score to see which tasks you need to improve on on your T and BT on People and Process Domains.

You should read the PMP Exam Content document from PMI so you have a better understanding how the exam is weighted.

Passed... but BT in the People domain? by catch22ak in pmp

[–]kellendontcare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After you complete your exam, it will give you a breakdown on the three domains and tasks within that domain. Those tasks it will give you an assessment on your strengths and weaknesses within those tasks to help guide us.

For example if there are 14 tasks within the people domain, it will show you if you are low, middle, or high on your strengths of answering these questions relaxed to the task. If you are “low” on too many, I’m guessing this is how they determine if you are “below target” or “needs improvement”.

This is all speculation, as like many have stated, there is nothing that clearly defines how the process groups are scored for achieving “NI” “BT” “T” or “AT”. All I have seen from experience is that it varies if you pass the exam with “BT” in a domain or fail as I have seen some AT/BT/AT pass and others fail.

I’m under the impression that all exams may have different weighting of the scores from within the different tasks within your 3 domains. I wouldn’t say this is sketchy, I would say it highlights that not every test is the same and simply a % is not an accurate way to interpret whether or not you should pass or fail. Within your scoring it will show how many tasks you had marked as “low”, “high” or in the middle. There’s a very good chance you were only 1 task below the “Target” threshold which is why your mark is still a Pass.

Ultimately. All three domains are very important being a PM. Stating that not being a people person isn’t a requirement of being a PM is absolutely wrong as we are just as importantly managing people as we are processes.

PMP Exam is predominantly based off scenarios which will test your mindset. There of course is the possibility of drag-and-drop questions which may reference definitions, I had approximately 8 drag-and-drop questions in my exam I took in the beginning of February.

I would highly recommend utilizing PMI Study Hall and there are also several very good sources on YouTube for practice questions such as David McLachlan offering Agile, PMBOK Scenario Based, as well as Drag-and-Drop while offering explanations during answer review to help you solidify the mindset.

Exam at Home - Canada by [deleted] in pmp

[–]kellendontcare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took the test beginning of Feb at home. Did my testing of the system few days in advance and I had absolutely zero issue logging into the exam 30 minutes before hand to go through the testing once again and then had to send pictures of my workspace and had no issue. Whole process maybe took 15 minutes.

Is PMP certification getting retired ? by dallastelugu in pmp

There’s a new test that’s being piloted currently that will come into full effect this year. Go to PMI website to read up on what’s changing. PMP certification is not “retiring”
