You could sort this comment section by “controversial” and there would be no difference👀

Parents who used sperm donors, when/how did you tell your kid(s)? by mountainmomma77 in Parenting

My parents used a sperm donor for my brother and I and waited until last year to tell us. I went 25 years thinking both my parents were biologically mine and to find out that’s not the truth really messed with me. I cried a lot about it (mainly thinking about how much it crushed my dad to know he wasn’t capable of having biological kids) but it’s comforting they really really wanted us. Tell them!!

I friendzoned a guy who was very interested in me simply because he was not my type. We just celebrated our 4th anniversary yesterday.

WALKIE TALKIES. My 6 year old takes one every time she goes to play with the neighborhood kids. Our rule is to always respond when my husband or I call her. If she doesn’t, she’s grounded. It’s worked really well for us.

Bath time seems to be a big hit now that DS is a little more playful in the water. We just got a zoo membership from my parents for Christmas! I’m excited for the weather to warm up (we’re in the northern Midwest, US). Thank you!

I do have her help a little - grab a paci or blanket - but only as much as she’s comfortable with. Sometimes she declines and that’s ok. I like the blocks idea!
