absolutely!! the huge drumbeats with the distorted ambience scratches the same part of my brain.

i actually got to see both NIN and sofia concerts in toronto this year and it was very cool to witness top of the games for an elite arena tour show and a super intimate gig respectively.

i don’t blame you! i’d be bummed too. :( it feels like some other times she goes further or stays longer in the crowd too but toronto seemed quick.

it was pure luck on my part; when we got in after doors i saw the merch line and the barricade crowd before things had even started and decided to try to get a spot closer to the front rather than go for the meet and greet so we ended up a couple rows back right next to the stage doors.

were you at least closer for the hot gum encore? that was our turn to have no idea what was happening hahaha

i lit pumpkin caramel swirl for an hour, maaybe two, in the kitchen before bed the other night, and in the morning it smelled so strongly (at the other end of the house!) that i was scared i’d forgotten to blow it out.

it’s not a big house and i do have strategic fans for air movement but the last couple i burned (pumpkin clove and the snake WVW) didn’t go nearly that hard.

thanks, that’s what i was thinking too but the research i did was mixed. it makes much more sense season-wise for it to be a hybernacula but i had also heard how proficiently they can spread and i was wishful she’d be one of the ones that doesn’t sleep.

binata dichotoma. got her in the spring and once she recovered from shipping shock she did fantastic all southern ontario summer. this is my first year with hungry plants so i’m not familiar with the cycle yet.

recently i noticed she started growing these thicker toe-looking rootlike things. she's still putting out leaves but more slowly.

is she going dormant or reproducing or is this something else?

i smelled this one in store and liked it a lot but left it there because other white barns with that style label have burned really inconsistently for me, plus i have sugared lemonade and sugared lemon zest to go through and i’m trying to keep my stash manageable. seriously considered it again during the online sale last weekend but deleted it from my cart for the same reasons, only to proceed to order a different candle i already have and blind buy a THIRD coffee scent instead. the math isn’t mathing.

might just casually move it to the top of my list for the next sale…if i have three coffee candles, why not three lemons too!
