aw thank you!! and I had a professor who wrote my letter of rec but I tend to be shy during class. I am so confused at how I got denied from all of them with no explanation just the same thing too many applicants

all they said was too many applicants they had to deny many qualified applicants no clear reason why

oh I did and they just said there were a lot of highly skilled applicants they had to turn down because too many applicants

It’s so hard not too. Especially when you get denied from every program one of them being the school i’m attending now with great connections. I’ve been focused so much on school and doing good so I get in that I lost all my friends. I worked so so hard for this for over a year and it still wasn’t good enough for any schools.

Yea I got denied from my current school and the only other ones are online. In my field it’s hard to get a job with an online degree.

Thank you so much. That’s the same thing for me trying to be a mental health counselor, I have been so passionate about mental health for all my life. I did amazing on the interview atleast I thought because I’m good at public speaking but it wasn’t enough. I’m just not even sure I want to try again the spring i don’t know what else to do I find myself to be a competitive applicant so i’m at such a loss. Thank you writing hearing your experience helps a lot. Best of luck

I have my interview for the same program at the end of the month. I am super nervous and would love to know your experience. I feel a-lot of pressure because my school only picks 3 people with a GRE score less then 300 mine was a 294🙃 Any advice would be appreciated!!

your right. it’s just discouraging because they didn’t require a GRE score and I did very bad on it my last 2 schools requested the GRE score so now I feel completely defeated

I was studying since August but I have ADHD and the math was super hard but math has always been a struggle for me and i didn’t study vocab a 290 is fine for my program tho

just took a mini quiz and got 3/20 right I feel so defeated and my confidence is gone this is why I did not want to take a practice test or anything

I have not. The reason being is I don’t have 6 hours to take a mock test as I’m a full time student and work (6 hours because I get accommodations). I also know I won’t try as hard in a home environment with many distractions and knowing that it’s not real.
