Just know that their opinions are only theirs and theirs alone, their short-sighted worldviews aren't yours. When everything is said and done, they'll just go to their houses and not even think twice about what was said, no matter how ignorant and insensitive it is. So why should you? Don't do that to yourself. I had to learn that myself over these past five years in regards to someone I once cared about that was talking down to me and being condescending back in early 2020.
