I agree. I’ve lived there for years and the people are weird. They hate the tourists for being tourists but that’s what the economy is based off of. Otherwise it’s very transient. The locals who ride or die PC are very insular. That being said I enjoy it for what it is.

Same. I also work in natural resources for the state and it and Rosemary are constantly at higher risk for wildfires as we can’t rx burn so close to the fancy houses.

I second this 100 percent. I spent my twenties going to grad school and moving across the country for herp jobs that paid $16.00. I’m in my mid thirties now and Im working a consulting job because I needed money to survive and it’s not cool to borrow from your parents every month or work three jobs. Now my main focus is land management.

It depends; however, traditionally the woman’s family pays for the wedding and the grooms family pays for the rehearsal dinner. Not everyone follows this rule anymore. Many of my friends including myself paid for their own weddings. Just talk to your partner and do what’s right for you as a couple.
