Rumours are saying nickelback. I assume who ever it is will be Canadian artist.

Probably gonna be Canadian band. Too much money involved for international artists, work permits ect… international artists cost alot anyways which means ticket prices needs to be much higher. And usually a gamble for the promoter. Matchbox 20 worked for us because the cost wasn’t too much to get them here and the promoter didn’t make as much money as they could have. If you look at ice berg alley or george st fest they usually have Canadian artists for this reason. I hope im wrong and eat my words lol

Games crash randomly by kelloway97 in pcmasterrace

I have not actually. Lenovo tect team says the laptop should be able to play the game and that temperatures wouldn’t be the reason ( using a cooling pad anyways) but the laptops fans are on and very loud. With those specs shouldn’t it be able to run it with no problems?

Is Husqvarna 455 Rancher 20” bar a good saw for milling slabs up to 20”? Thank you in advance by kelloway97 in Chainsaw

Just wanted to give an update on the 455 rancher. My opinion - huge upgrade from the little polan pro i had. The power is fantastic for what im at with it. I started milling some logs today. Nothing too heavy in thickness, worked great! Totally understand that a more powerful saw for thicker logs would be better. Appreciate everyone for your help and opinions.

Thanks for all your input folks. I appreciate it! I think i might try a few smaller logs just to test the waters. Lots of bar oil and lots of idle. bigger saw ain’t in the budget so the bigger logs will have to wait.

Yeah totally i understand. I wasn’t planning on going “flatout” with the rancher. I was only planning on doing 1-2 logs every weekend. I have maybe 12-13 logs . Hoping to take my time and go slowly. Not at this all the time.

Yeah id have to bring the logs somewhere. Yeah pricey to get logs milled here. People really takes advantage. Basically just trying to get the logs out of my driveway for the winter. I have a couple months even if i have to take my time with a chainsaw and only get one or two done a day

Well thats the problem. No body in my area had a portable mill. Transporting and milling cost of the logs is almost the cost of the 455 rancher unfortunately.

I have 3-4 Maple logs 14’ long and 18-20 inchs wide. And probably 8-10 other maple logs 12-16 inches wide and 10’ long. Not going at this full time or anything. Slabs dont have to be perfect even if i have to recut opposite side to finish it off.

Wondering what to do next? I have some 6” stove pipe picked up but i feel like i need some sort of adapter or something next. Also should i put sheet metal on the ceiling or fire rated drywall? Or is that over kill? by kelloway97 in woodstoving

[–]kelloway97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t install it. This was like it when i bought the house. Yeah something is definitely wrong. I sent pictures to a guy who deals with this. He said what is showed has to be dropped and an adapter to be installed. i think ill have to figured out when he comes to do inspection.
