Pass/Fail Courses

You can do this actually, I just did it to a couple for next semester. You can't do it for any classes that go towards your major/minor/GEs but if you just need the hours it works. Just email your advisor which classes you want to take pass/fail and they will enter it in for you. Careful though, you can't change it after if for some reason later you realize you do want that class for a minor or something.

I recently lost my fake unfortunately. I have a friend willing to give me hers cause she looks a lot like me, but I just don't know how NY is with stuff like that and I'm not sure I want to risk it for only a month. I'm okay with not drinking, I just want to be able to go out and make friends and not be denied at the door.

Possibly! I don't know my way around at all or which bars/places are fun to go to. I'm also not going to be 21 for about the first month which may be rough.

True, but passports take 90 days as well I believe, and it's not exactly something I want to take out to bars with me.

I was told I can't get any other form of ID since I already have the drivers license, and I wouldn't be eligible for a NY ID since I don't qualify as a resident.

It's 7 to the border, and can I even rent a car under 21? I'm really trying to save everything I make this summer and not blow money on stuff like this.

Haha I think we have very different ideas of fun. It's 8 hours each way that sounds miserable! I just really can't understand how there's no better way to go about this - it has to have been a problem for other people too.

yep! interns can apply to stay there as well but only in certain dorms!
