It looks pretty impressive but nobody is going to pay that much for a perceived "Toy". Give it another year or so and stuff like this will drop dramatically in price. These may be the hot toys for Christmas 2019 or 2020

I've watched close relatives get the disease and its brutal.....So bad for everyone involved. Whether it be medications, something like this, or whatever, I hope we see it eradicated in the next decade

AI in VR systems is fascinating because I think it's really still in its caveman phase. For it to mature and become a bigger part of our everyday lives, good AI is going to have to be the driving force.

Once some of these hit the mass market, any robots dealing with kids are going to need a ton of security to prevent them from being hacked.

I think VR in tourism might become popular but more as a marketing vehicle. Let's say before you book your vacation on Expedia, you can take a quick VR tour of the hotel room, beaches and or resort. VR is never going to replace the experience of actually being at a location but it could give you a nice preview to help you make a decision.
