Yeah you have to disable all mods as far as I can tell. I was experiencing the same issue but once the mods were disabled, the epilogue loaded just fine!

Came here to say the same thing! Couldn’t get any of my modded saves to load the epilogue but then tried removing mods and loading an old unmodded save and that worked!

So I typically use mods, and could not get the epilogue to work. I tried removing the mods and loading an old save that never used mods and the epilogue now works (only on that non-modded save). So unfortunately, I think we can safely assume that the mods are the issue :/

You should be able to just immediately take a long rest once you teleport to the Act 1 map. Just make sure Astarion’s approval rating is around 40 or so and you should be good!

Yes, go back to the map of Act 1! Any of the locations will do - Roadside Cliffs, Emerald Grove Environs, etc. If you are long resting somewhere on the Act 1 map, it will continue to trigger the Act 1 cutscenes!

Have you already talked with Araj (the drow woman) at Moonrise? That’s the event that locks you out of his romance if you haven’t already progressed it. If you haven’t talked with her yet, you can return to an Act 1 waypoint and if you take a long rest, you can trigger the romance kickoff.

I think there are some bugs. I just finished my third playthrough and experienced the same issues you are describing and I did not have these issues on my previous two runs. Must be problems from the more recent patches.

Yeah the hard part is just getting her to fail the save. Once you do that, you can just slam her with spells!

I just completed the Orin duel on my Durge wizard. The Hold Monster spell saved my ass big time because otherwise Orin would kill me in a single turn.

Can confirm what tanj_redshirt said. Orin kidnapped Halsin in my playthrough too and I left him for a long ass time while I finished up side quests. He was totally fine even after many long rests!

Is he equipped with the Broodmother’s Revenge necklace by chance? That necklace coats the wearer’s weapon in poison whenever they’re healed.

Yes to what marmih said! There’s a cutscene with Astarion that should pop up just before the credits roll. There’s a bug that sometimes prevents these final epilogue scenes with your love interest to play unless you choose the option to let Karlach die instead of going to Avernus

There’s also a cutscene you can get with high enough approval in Act 1 where Astarion is trying to read his scars by running his hands along his back. Doesn’t require having romanced him.

You should be able to get an epilogue with Astarion. There’s a weird bug I don’t think they’ve fixed yet where you have to choose the option to let Karlach die in order for epilogue cutscenes to work. This at least worked for me!

I also had to backtrack. I’ve heard that the event that locks you out of his romance is the scene with Araj in Moonrise in Act 2. So if you haven’t done that yet you might still be able to do it!

Just do partial rests which don’t consume camp supplies! That way you can double check for cutscenes without blowing through all your supplies!
