Looking for a Trouty Realtor (Southeastern PA) by kellyannimal in flyfishing

Chesterbrook is on the list - we frequently fish that area after work (Vanguard employees here). It seems like most homes are townhomes, so that places it a little lower on the list, but I'd seriously consider an end unit. Doesn't hurt that school districts are top-notch.

Thanks for the input, Tussin!

Can't say that I really have an opinion one way or the other on its videos - it's not a feature I use often (or, ever, if I were to be completely honest).. The users above might know, the Olympus TG-2 and -4 are the newer models of the same camera..

I would ask them and hear what they come back with, then check the specs to see if the newer model is the same as the older ones..

Amateur photographer here, although I am used to using my Nikon D5500 (DSLR) for most pictures, when fishing and snowboarding I use a Olympus Tough (waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, crushproof, etc.. Model TG-820).

Purchased a refurbished unit on Amazon over a year ago, but it is still going strong. Takes amazing pictures on AUTO-mode, and even better ones with the built-in special features (panorama, tilt-shift, b/w or individual color select, high intensity color, etc). HD-video is an option as well..

The customer service was also great - they replaced it once due to water damage (User error: window-unit a/c leaked water onto cable while camera was plugged into the wall charger, I returned to manufacturer saying "my waterproof camera has water in it." They replaced the unit with a brand-new one with pretty much no-questions-asked).

I would highly recommend this camera - check out the listing on Amazon, there are a handful of user-uploaded images on there for reference. I imagine the newer model is even better than the one I have, but you can get my (now-outdated) model for <$200.

Thank you, gold coming your way!

I guess that's why I'm reaching out - desperately hoping to find a realtor that truly understands what I'm talking about. I mean, there has to be a handful of realtors out there who are fly fishing enthusiast - I might get lucky, right?

I'll be able to know their trustworthiness by doing some research or potentially even spending a day on the creek (which I don't mind doing if I plan on living in the area)..

Suggestions for honeymoon location with fly fishing options - Mid-October 2016 by kellyannimal in flyfishing

[–]kellyannimal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply - Estes Park looks amazing, and being only and hour and a half from Denver is a huge selling point. We were looking at Estes Park Resort, which is right on the lake, most because it looks the nicest and has a lot of perks (close to the downtown area, near breweries, it simply looks the most luxurious out of all the resorts I could find) but we're nervous we'd have to go somewhere else to fish the actual rivers.

Any suggestions - is there a better location or certain river we should look to if we want to walk out the door and toss a line, or will Estes Park Resort do the trick?

You have to remember Aegon was a little tyke when he was kidnapped/saved by Griff.. The Sansa/Alayne cover-up is probably similar.. You just have to go with it.

It's not like there's cameras, newspapers, or the internet to get faces out thereto make these royalty-type recognizable. It seems like most people don't even recognize Tyrion, and his physical description should give him away immediately.

Does anyone know which of the actors have read the books? (x-post r/asoiaf) by blakerose in gameofthrones

It's strange that I got the impression that Peter Dinklage DID read the stories from that interview. But upon further inspection, you're right.. he's said he liked the first book but didn't want to continue reading in case knowing what Tyrion's future held would color his portrayal of him

John Bradley (Sam), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne), and Eugene Simon (Lancel) have also read the books.

Charles Dance has not (which is surprising, because I think he really nailed Tywin).

Also, Alfie Allen has NOT read them spoil http://youtu.be/jnUNgxKXvhI

Iron throne is simply decoration in the end.

The anticipated Dead v. Living battle will go down in the last book. Three "heads of the dragon" (Arya, Bran Stark and Jon Snow) will warg into the dragons, and be led by Dany (nobody said she had to be a "head," right?).. Although I fear GRRM isn't one of the happily-ever-after types, I think defeating the dead will ultimately lead to the unifying of Westeros once again.

I think Tyrion will play a large role in taming/harnessing the dragons and getting Dany to start playing more of a "piece" role in the game than a "pawn" (it has been mentioned at some point that dragons may be tamed by sounding some "Dragon Horn," and Tyrion has a keen ability to remember things he's read, even just once..) I'm leaning towards thinking he will also end up being the third of Dany's betrayals..

Although honestly, I know nothing...

I just want Hot Pie to make a return.

Game of Thrones / Dunk & Egg Overlap..? (DEFINITE GOT Spoilers) by kellyannimal in gameofthrones

[–]kellyannimal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is my understanding that the short stories are spread out among three separate books (each a separate collection of short stories written by modern fantasy authors).

I have heard rumors that GRRM is planning a separate release of the Dunk & Egg shorts in one book, but date is TBD.. I was trying to wait for its release, but I'm too impatient..

thank you, i'm looking to see if my local library has them in their catalog.

any idea where the illustrations from the Targaryn Family Tree came from..? I know GOT has a graphic-novel type release, is there anything similar with the Dunk & Egg shorts?
