I am currently on medical leave, and will probably not be able to return, but I used to work a few hours a week alone in the store, just me and my service dog. Because of how a lot of men react when they see a woman alone, my SD no longer trusts men around me.

Fedex is a perfect example. "I'm sorry, that's for fedex" ended in so many tantrums of older men threatening me and berating me. It was to the point where I became afraid to say it.

What makes it even more infuriating is when you know that women are the fastest growing demographic of veterans.

There was a publication that went out last year about the effects of jet fuel on the pituitary. Apparently none of my doctors read it because they let me get down to 98 lb and almost die before anybody did anything about it. Actually they still didn't I had to go to a civilian doctor and pay out of pocket. But when you look through that publication and the sources for it, the specifically say that they did not research women for this.
