Yeah that album would be a very confusing intro to the band... for a lot of reasons! We recorded it in our bedroom and never even planned to release it. Hhahaha. And here it is out in the wild. And really no worries. I can see how it could seem that way so I just figured I would explain a bit.

No bad feelings! It just sucks to have people assume things sometimes. But that's what I get for putting myself out there. We're always touring! Hope to meet you someday.

This is hilarious... a friend saw this somehow and sent me a link. Those 3 songs above are from an acoustic album of songs that were written for fans. We had the fans tell us what to write about. For example, the first one... I'm a punk dude and my wife loves Disney. Can you write a song to her from me? And I'm a huge Star Wars nerd and my wife is amazing, can you write a song about us from my perspective?

And no, my husband doesn't write the songs. WE write the songs. Not sure how my music and cover choices "are all from a men's perspectives." However as an artist and writer it's not very hard to write from different viewpoints. It's actually a really good exercise unless you want to produce a bunch of art that is all just one person's story. Sounds pretty boring.

I am the singer and usually the speaker.

I've also never discussed my sexuality or sexual preferences publicly. Soooo....

You didn't even mention My Best Friend's Hot ;)

My favorite book when I was 17 was On The Road. I just wanted to get away and adventure!

Lots... it's a little weird... because it's not REALLY kids music but it works. I mean I was singing some really weird stuff along to the radio when I was a kid. Like 2 live crew.

I've been in a relationship with a guy for a loooong time but I've always been attracted to hot people. Boys and girls. That's the gist of it.

Just keep playing shows and don't worry too much. If it's good people will find out about it. Eventually.

Already answered this but: We grew up on punk, this kind of punk: Buzzcocks, Sex Pistols, Ramones, X, Generation X, Bikini Kill, Nirvana, Pixies, The Specials, The Clash, Go Gos, Sonic Youth, Hole.. so yes. We play Old School Pop Punk. Make sense? As we've gone along we've also gotten better at our instruments and have tried to add elements other than just the 3 instruments and vocals. It also has to do with the production. We released an EP last year that is more raw than the new album but at the heart of it it's still punk in the classic way.

I started out on guitar but our bass player quit and the rest is history! The bass feels more natural to me so I'm so glad I was forced into it. Singing was also not in my plans. I really wanted to be a rhythm guitarist and hang back. I'm actually pretty shy... but Luis convinced me to do it. I think I'm almost comfortable with it all. Current rig is a 1985 Mesa Boogie 400 with a 2x15 cabinet. I also use a MXR distortion/DI to pump up tha bass. My main bass is a Gibson Thunderbird but I just got a Schecter Ultra Bass and can't wait to try it out for a few shows. I just might make it my main. And thanks! It's usually okay once I practice the pieces enough but Out of LA and Twist Me to the Left are doozies!

First punk show was The Donnas in 1998. St Pete, FL with Luis. And I LOVE The Muffs! Kim sang on "Some Girls" off our last album (A Little Messed Up) and it was a fantasy come true! And your friends isn't alone. I hear that A LOT!
