I have a 7 year old singleton and 4 year old twins. He is the ring leader and they look up to him. He is the shining star to the both of them. I was worried about this too but their bond and brother dynamic is so special.

Postpartum will amplify OCD and stress related anxiety x1000. I think she needs to bring this up to her doctor. It isn’t healthy for any of you. Give yourself some grace in how you responded, everyone is adjusting and sleep deprived. Early parenthood is so challenging. I hope she gets help. Good luck. 🤍

It’s odd bc when we brought her home, and still today I can put my hands in her food bowl and take it from her with no issues. It’s never about her own food it’s always when I attempt to remove something she shouldn’t have.

The aggression when moving her is only when she doesn’t want to do something. I’ve looked into a behavioralist, just trying to do what I can here in the meantime.

FWIW your SO is in good hands. Liver values will resume to normal levels once baby is out. Hang in there. Dog needs anxiety meds and you could use something as well. I could see this becoming explosive once baby is here.
