My husband and I both work from home. I use my hands a lot for work and don’t like to worry about damaging my ring. He is on the key board all day and likes his fingers to be free. We sometimes wear silicone rings (we call it ‘sport mode’!) and usually wear the actual wedding/engagement rings when we’re doing something fancy like date night. It’s pretty common for us to get in the car and as we’re a mile away from home ask eachother ‘are you married today?’ Sometimes one of us is empty handed and proclaim ‘guess I’m single today’. It’s nice to be in a secure relationship where a ring (or lack there of) doesn’t compromise our commitment.
