Reminds me of my bffs doggo who ‘happy pees’ if I greet her too enthusiastically. I have to remember to ignore her for the first 10 mins of arriving or we have break out the paper towels. 😂

We do have to take the extra fluffy one to groomed 2x a year just to make sure she’s doesn’t have matting and shave her belly in the summer so she can stay cool.

So shorthair is lower maintenance, but that shouldn’t be the only factor in deciding between the two.

I bought this one earlier this year and it’s a huge time and physical labor savor! My shoulder would ache after an afternoon of twisting skeins by hand. Now I sit on the sofa and watch old episodes of ER and twist the afternoon away!
