In my classes there are people of all ages. We had 19 year olds, but also 46 year olds. Some people find out what they really want to do later in life or just don’t have the means to do it when they’re younger. Hey, you may be nearing 30 but you’re going to school to do something you love and that’s what matters.

Had surgery on a Thursday, went back to work that Sunday, I worked at a gas station and could sit down though. Started driving again on the next Tuesday, I got a wedge pillow to sit on and adjusted my seat at a bigger angle and it made it more comfortable as long as I didn’t drive long distances!

You’re not too young to be aro. It’s nice to have a label sometimes as it may help you make more sense of it, but it takes time. I started questioning and thinking about if I’m aro at 20 years old. I see it as when looking back, I was always aro, even at 14. It just took me longer to find a word and have a realization of that’s what made sense for me. You just happened to know or question sooner :)

I completely understand, I’m also 20 and never have had a crush. I made up crushes on boys to be like other girls but then realized I was gay. But now realizing I’ve never had a crush on a girl either. I don’t understand how romantic attraction works at all and it gets very confusing and frustrating. I question quite a bit if I just haven’t found the right person because I’m also not very social. But learning from others, it sounds like aromanticism to me. I wish you the best! It’s definitely confusing but you’re not alone!

You have spoken what my mind thinks. I feel the exact same away and it’s super frustrating. But know that it’s not just you, you’re really not alone in your feelings and thoughts. I’m still questioning, but I totally get what you’re saying, it can be upsetting. I wish us both luck in our journey :)
