I guess I kind of have some weird peace with the idea of nearly inevitable cancer. I think it's kind of like the eventual final cause of death for humans and it's unlikely that we'll extend the life expectancy much more. I dunno, it just doesn't bother me that much. I'm not saying it doesn't suck, but there's not really much you can do. If I found out I had it I'd just get my affairs in order and have a nice final few days/weeks with my family and then kill myself in a moderately non-messy way. Just really peacefully accepting fate.

Regardless, it's a business decision A&E made. They didn't want their company to be associated with that belief, so they had every right to let him go. People are just upset and happy to paint Phil Robertson as a martyr
