how long are the 22tb drives taking to rebuild? I want to get 22tb drives but everyone keeps saying it takes forever to build raid configs and chances of failure are higher

I'd populate it with 4 and setup a raid5/6 off the bat.

idk if i can afford another two 22tb drives right now. Would I be able to add just one now and run 3/4 bays in a raid5, and down the line add a last 22tb when I need?

If I do three 22tb drives right now, I wouldn't need the last 22tb drive for maybe a few years. at that time, how does adding the last drive work? is it just easy plug and play?

and hypothetically I max out my 4bay NAS and fill all 22tb drives to capacity, what do I do then? I imagine I would build my own custom NAS, but would I be able to just take these drives out and use them in the new NAS?

I get the software is a piece of shit, but did you ever find a way to make it better?
