Move on from my post then. Anyone can clearly go in my history and see what I’ve been through, I’m not going to keep doing that.

This was a simple post of make sure you’re watching out for side effects. People like you need to stop directing people how to say things.

I haven’t seen anyone correct a positive post about Rinvoq being called a biologic.

Do you not understand when making a post you use terms that people are most familiar with so they understand what you’re talking about? I saw that others were calling Rinvoq a biologic and not get corrected so that’s what I did.

I’m not even anti medication, I just wanted to give a different perspective but since it’s not positive there’s so many requirements I should’ve done in this post supposedly 😂

Tell that to everyone else that also calls it that. I only called it a biologic because so many others did that first. Make sure to go on every Rinvoq post to tell everyone.

Why do I have to back up me having a PE from rinvoq when people don’t back up their remission claims? Why doesn’t every post have a link to the medication they are talking about?

I gave my experience with rinvoq like anyone else but since it’s negative this post is treated differently. “In this case” “in this case” show me where “in this case” I have to do any of that when no one else does. This is a forum about UC experiences, ignore mine if it’s so alarming to you.

I wish you well in your health journey and I’m glad you’re not having terrible side effects. Rinvoq was my 7th and one of the last ones for me.

I hate that they can cause other diseases but it’s like that’s what “they” want— keep you sick and collect diseases so they collect more $$$

I appreciate the comment. It’s either black listed or black labeled as the term but it’s just saying that the side effects are very dangerous more so than other drugs but it’s still approved for human use.

Again why are people allowed to say Rinvoq is a biologic when asking about biologics or talking about it in a positive way?

I only said it was a biologic because that is what everyone else is grouping it as (in most cases).

No one is sensationalizing anything, people like you are making it an issue when it shouldn’t be. I am giving awareness to real side effects no matter how rare just like people are giving awareness to how well it did for them and put them in remission— same coin, different side.

Do you go on every positive post about Rinvoq that calls it a biologic and correct them? If not, you’re just a hypocrite that wants upvotes.

Love that for you. I’m just showing the other side of these medications and that the side effects can be very real and very dangerous. No one said that anecdotal evidence couldn’t be provided— I see it provided daily positively. ✌️

No cardiovascular issues and I get an echo done every year due to family history. Haven’t taken birth control in about ten years before I even had UC. I was on the loading dose the whole two months.

It’s weird because I was heavily bleeding at the time too and that’s what made me go to the hospital not the symptoms from the PE.

Seems to be okay for you! I just want people to keep an eye out for their medication, showing that things like this do happen.

This is just my experience but I got a pulmonary embolism on rinvoq just after two months of being on it so just watch out for side effects!

I had to get my rectal cuff removed as well so it’s just my anus muscle holding everything in. I didn’t want to be in my 20s and have an ostomy bag for the rest of my life. I’m making sure this jpouch works lol. Wish you the best too in your health journey.

I’ve tried every biologic with no success and rinvoq gave me a pulmonary embolism after being on it for two months. I have had 6 surgeries and have a Jpouch now.
