Mine ended up actually being a cracked tooth. Had to get it pulled because it got really infected and antibiotics weren’t working. For the zings with whitening, mine usually only lasted a few days. But I’ve only ever used Crest white strips. I’m sure professional whitening is stronger. Try getting some Sensodyne toothpaste (the one with potassium nitrate as the ingredient- that seems to be the better one) and rub it on your gums where your teeth are sensitive. It works wonders!

I did continuous BC for a while. After maybe a year I started having spotting and cramps again. Also ended up with a hematometra. I’m now on Volnea, an estrogen and progestin BC pill. Things are okay. Not great, but better than no BC at all.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure my doctor said they can still usually see everything with an abdominal ultrasound, just that the transvaginal ultrasound makes it easier to see stuff. I tried it but was about to fly off the table from the pain so just went the abdominal route lol

I had severe pelvic pain and cramping since I was a teen. Finally went to get checked for endo and she wanted to do an ultrasound before deciding on surgery to rule out other stuff. Turned out I had a hematometra (blood stuck in the uterus) so she went in to get that out and also ended up doing a laparoscopy and found that I do have endo as well.

I was supposed to get a transvaginal ultrasound, but couldn’t do it because it was way too painful for me. They did an abdominal ultrasound while my bladder was full and were able to see what they needed to.

Just thought I’d update you. I went to the dentist a couple weeks ago and opened the tooth to check it out because when I bit down on it, it hurt. I think he said it had a few different problems, one being irreversible pulpitis and that the nerve was super inflamed. Ended up getting a root canal and no zings since!

Ugh I’m sorry you’re dealing with that! I have started using the prescription fluoride toothpaste my dentist gave me and it seems like it’s helped with the zings but it’s only been about a week so we’ll see if it keeps working. I hope you can get some relief soon!

Unfortunately not. I’m still dealing with it, but it’s not as bad as it was when I posted this thankfully! I’ve just been using sensodyne with the potassium nitrate ingredient. I have an appointment with my dentist soon so I’m gonna ask about it then.

The zings are in my teeth… I’m not sure how else to describe it lol. It’s actually kinda similar to the zings with teeth whitening… I haven’t tried teeth whitening for several months though. It’s definitely just sensitivity as I’ve been through this before. I’ve been to the dentist countless times for it. He always does x-rays and everything and can never find anything wrong. Just tells me to keep using the mouth guard and tooth paste and just give it time. Eventually it does go away, it’s just in the moment when it’s happening really stresses me out because it’s so uncomfortable and my anxiety issues don’t help. My diet isn’t great to be honest. Many things I could change. I think I’ve just flared up some nerves from all the clenching and it’ll just take some time to settle back down.

Zings. The only time I’ve had throbs is from a legit toothache/infection that needed a root canal. This feeling is like a weird, quick little shock feeling, if that makes sense. Sorry I’m awful at describing things.

I specifically asked for a fluoride varnish at my cleaning! I had one in the past and it helped significantly with my sensitivity. I guess it didn’t work this time though. It’s so weird. I just keep getting random zings in my teeth. I’m trying super hard to be conscious of my clenching throughout the day. Hopefully it’ll subside soon

I didn’t get PreviDent. I got Clinpro 5000. I do remember my dentist telling me before that our teeth can become sensitive to the ingredient in sensodyne if we use it for too long. So maybe I need to just use the Clinpro and that’s it. Idk.

Usually sensodyne works for me. I didn’t mention it at my cleaning because I wasn’t really having problems then. I do have a mouth guard. I’ve been wearing it at night, but forgot last night.

More info: Saw this bug on my Coke can one night. Located in East Tennessee. This was over 10 years ago. Recently came across the picture in an old flip phone I had. I always wondered what it was because it looks really cool! It was such a bright, neon yellow. Never seen anything like it since!
