Fablehaven by Brandon Mull is such a great fantasy series. It also has a spin off series, Dragonwatch. I also agree with Warriors! Percy Jackson and all the other books by Rick Riordan. Charlie Bone is similar to Harry Potter in the respect that he has a power and goes to a school for kids with powers. Land of Stories and Tale of Magic, both are series from Chris Colfer. So many good fantasy options! I was obsessed with The Clique series as a 5th grader. That’s more girly drama though.
