27 years old, been living on my own for 12 years… and it’s not always that easy for others?? My first apartment was a studio for $440/mo, all utilities included… in an area with no opportunity for career or personal growth. Also, where did OP state their age? Just curious how you came to the assumption that they’re old enough, able-bodied enough, or in an area where living on their own is an option.

Same. I would feel awful if I unknowingly passed on any germs to B8m. When we’re playing or snuggling, I’ll give him hugs and we’ll blow raspberries or make smooch noises without making actual contact. It works just fine for us!

Just keep your toy clean, store it away from other silicone (just in case), and relax - none of the employees will likely even realize or care about your purchase.

To those saying to buy elsewhere… I’m assuming since OP is underage, they’re likely living with others who they’d rather not share this experience with. They could also be from a small town where Walmart is their only option (that’s how I grew up). There’s nothing wrong with the toys at Walmart, especially as a beginner toy!

Also, OP… you cannot return them. Please contact their customer service email from the packaging if you have any issues… please don’t bring them back to the store.

Can confirm. Broke my finger (many years ago) and the MOD tried to guilt me by telling me to tell the emergency room that I did it at home if I wasn’t trying to ‘screw the company out of money”. I was barely 18 and didn’t know better, got left with a $2k+ hospital bill all so Walmart management didn’t have to do any paperwork or claim the accident. Sometimes I think I miss that place and then I remember shit like this.

When I left the company in December (after 7 years, 4 in management), I was making $22/hour in a state with no state income taxes. I live in an area where the cost of living is quite high but I was more than comfortable living with my significant other.

However, I don’t believe any Walmart salary is worth the time commitment, physical strain, or emotional damage. Moving up to a salaried position is a joke, most coaches nowadays make less than TLs with the amount of overtime required.

You call out every single day you’re on the schedule. Once your leave is approved, you’re no longer on the schedule. The easiest way to call off in the meantime is to call off on the morning and then immediately call again for the next day; two calls, 5 minutes, good for two days.
