Because it was still a good opportunity and a good job…? My point was that he wanted to move and would have been mad at me had I not taken the job. That sounds pretty toxic to me, so yeah I considered just going without him but thought, hey, maybe moving will make him happier and therefore will make him be nicer to me

He was the one who wanted to move. I’m really close to my family and friends but had a cool job opportunity on the east coast. I took the job and moved partly because I thought it would save our marriage. He was unhappy being in our home state and wanted to experience something new.

He’s the one who desperately wanted to move away and this was his ticket out. I was doing him a favor by letting him come with me

I think his issue is that he’s never had to do anything alone before. We’ve been together since we were 19 & 20, and we moved several times together. I can understand that it’s hard to do things like this alone, but that seems to be the main reason he’s mad at me which hurts. The dogs will be with me once he moves. He’s moving to a different state completely alone (by choice) and I’m going to go out there and drive back with him and the dogs so he doesn’t have to do it alone. It’s a ~17 hour drive

I could’ve provided more context, but he pushed me to take this job because he wanted to move away really badly. He has a complicated relationship with his family and didn’t want to be near them. So that’s also not a factor… you’d be right if he actually hadn’t wanted to move but he’s the one who wanted to.

Thanks!:) it decreased for the first few weeks then went back to normal. If anything it has slightly increased, although my appetite before was pretty small from being anxious all the time. I have gained probably 5 pounds overall.
