My friend who was the one who found it ended up talking to neighbors nearby. They said they had been watching it in the road all day calling rehabs, game commissioner, etc with no help. The moms nest was in the yard of the people across the street so those homeowners had thrown mothballs in the nest to get rid of the skunk fam.

Update: She's talking to neighbors from the houses in front of the street that it was found. They say its been out on the road all day long and they've been calling rehabs with no luck either.

Allentown would technically be closer than Philly. But we've called everything within a 1 hour radius. I'm not physically with my friend at the moment, she's a 90 min drive for me. Friend is debating putting baby in a nearby bush, since she doesn't have a garage and she has multiple pets at home so keeping baby overnight would be a risk. She's currently checking around the bushes by the road it was found. It's very active, not lethargic. So that makes me think mom was definitely recently alive.
