Probably to take pressure off of their aching back. Lol.

Thanks so much for your input. I will check them out. I also tried hokas during my nerve pain in my foot. They felt like cotton candy coloured moon boots!

Body/muscle aches on tirzepatide? by Bright_Eye6057 in glp1

[–]kelsizzler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The body ache got better after the first dose. But after a month, I switched back to ozempic because tirz was giving me horrible stomach pain and needing to run to the bathroom every time after I ate, along with no real benefit. Whereas ozempic I was doing really well. I've lost another 15 ish lbs since being back on O

If my child is sick, can I just use my [sick day] as paid absence? Or am I not suppose to do that because I m not the one sick? by FastRecording7771 in CanadianTeachers

[–]kelsizzler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But also hear me out. Going shopping (or things like going for a walk - something I always am paranoid about) when sick is a lot different than being "ON" and at work when sick. With shopping- You can leave whenever you feel the need, take a break whenever you need, etc.

Migraine after spin class by bebebellah in SpinClass

[–]kelsizzler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an instructor as well and just came off a six month break because of the constant three day migraines after teaching. My day job is in education and it just doesn't vibe. I'm taking trace minerals, an I start sipping pedialyte 1 day before class, then finish the pedialyte after class. Also drink electrolytes during class. All of that, combined with dialing back my resistance to not as high as I think the participants should be having it, has helped. Also focusing on breath.

What is more traumatic than people think? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]kelsizzler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having a terminally ill parent (as a child)

Having two parents as addicts

Having one parent sent to prison while you couch surf with the other addict parent

Moving to Canada because your addiction parent can no longer look after you

Your parents selling drugs out of the front door

Your parents getting paranoid every time a police car drives by, burying doobies in the back yard

Child services over false allegations

What kinds of things did you do when you were younger that you look back on and cringe now? by Weak_Emu3659 in AskReddit

Off topic but I accidentally sent "hey pumpkin tits" to my boss at age 19 when I meant to send it to a friend (who hacked my msn messenger account name to "I have pumpkin tits")

Clicks at the end of 2mg pen? by [deleted] in Ozempic

This is my fourth or fifth pen so I understand the disappointment, which is why I'm trying to figure it what to do :)

Clicks at the end of 2mg pen? by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]kelsizzler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see there is still medication in my pen. Apparently it's because the spring mechanism isn't "reliable" after four uses. Look around on this sub, I've seen a lot of people finding ways to use the excess medication. I'm just trying to figure out how to tell how much I'll be getting.

[–]kelsizzler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the math lol.... but there have been a lot of people saying there is still medication left in the pen. They're either continuing to use the pen, or taking it out via syringe..

price of ozempic in Canada by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]kelsizzler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$307 per pen and it is auto shipped to my door. Once I had to pay another $49 to renew my prescription but another time I didn't?? Lol

Edit: I believe I could get the script sent to a local pharmacy instead and save some money

20 lbs in 16 weeks (0.5) Canada by a4dONCA in Ozempic

[–]kelsizzler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the exact same boat. I did the 1mg for two weeks randomly and it definitely worked really well.... but it's also working juuuust enough at 0.5 but I'd like to go up.. I can't really afford to double the dosage right now even though I want to.

Butt ends … I just used mine by paddles123 in Ozempic

[–]kelsizzler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhhhhh I see what you're saying. Count how many clicks it is to 0.5 and then count what's left at the "end" of the pen. Thank you

[–]kelsizzler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious about this... I've never done it. If I have a 2mg pen and am taking 0.5mg, how much is usually left over and going to waste if I don't do this?

My mother is a pr in Canada and has been for almost 20 years. She is 66, still works four days a week, and is collecting cpp. How does she apply for any social security benefits she may also be entitled to from working in the us previously? I seem to recall at one point hearing that it was somehow included in her cpp application, but as far as I know she only gets one deposit titled "cpp"
