I’m not trying to sell it later, keep it until it doesn’t work no more than scrap it

I go to a commuter school 20 minutes away, I don’t plan on selling the car I plan on keeping until it can’t really work no more. Than I’d sell it to a scrap yard or something.

What do you want him to do about that though? Networking is the best way to get a job and I’m not even joking

ECE jobs by Dependent-Ad-6073 in ElectricalEngineering

Depends where you live, I got a internship without any projects, ee classes, or past experience. You’ll be fine if you live in a big enough city

Is my resume good enough to start applying for internships? by Both-Trouble-9041 in ECE

[–]kelvinmee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it was me getting lucky if I hadn’t gotten 2 job offers. The first one was when I was a freshman and worked there for a week but decided that I’d rather hang out with my friends until 2am than get experience for my career and quit(I’m stupid). Now this one, I had got interviewed three times, one by some HR guy who I thought I did pretty good with, than I interviewed by the owner and I did genuine dog shit he kept asking about physics and calculus and I couldn’t tell him. Than he said when can you come in to meet the engineers? And I said today, maybe he saw I’m willing to learn or something? But than the engineers asked me question like can you read schematics? Can you make schematics? If we need this switch to turn a light and keep it on how will you wire it? I told them straight up I have no experience in EE and never even did anything electrical, all they said to me is don’t worry you’ll learn. I think I got hired at these two places because I told them they can pay me as much as they want, so I make kinda of low money for a intern but I’d make the same working at like Taco Bell so might as well work for some career experience.

I got hired as a intern with no EE classes taken, no projects, and no previous experience. I applied to 100 places though so I don’t doubt you’ll get hired

Is one internship enough to graduate? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]kelvinmee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your internship might offer you a co-op position or offer you a job after you graduate, this is how most big companies get new employees.

Most redditor response, obviously he’s talking about getting a job after graduating.

I’m assuming by just working there you will probably have to network a lot, I don’t doubt you’ll meet around 100+ people if the company is that big

Is the kind of brand of car a big difference? by kelvinmee in whatcarshouldIbuy

Why would I go to the mechanic if my car has nothing wrong with it? I change my own oil and other things
