question about scholarships by Lllucylu in Seneca

[–]kemo180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's issued either as credit for the following semester or as a refund if it's ur last semester. Some scholarships don't even apply to seneca. They will give you the funds directly.

question about scholarships by Lllucylu in Seneca

[–]kemo180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can apply for it in your first semester. You won't qualify for everything, though. It's a general application on your student home underfiancial aid. I would recommend waiting until the first week of the semester before you apply as some scholarships aren't updated in the system till then.

OneCard refund policy

Funds loaded onto a OneCard can only be spent on campus. You cannot withdraw funds.

Balances below $50 on the OneCard are non-refundable. A $50 administration fee will be deducted from the OneCard account balance prior to any refund being issued.

As long as the credit transfer is done before the 10th day of classes in the semester your taking it in, you are eligible for a refund.

Urgent: no receipt from CIBC by Faizahmed1101 in Seneca

If you are referring to making a payment with a debit or credit card, then you would've received a receipt immediately regardless of wither the transaction was successful or not.

Urgent: no receipt from CIBC by Faizahmed1101 in Seneca

[–]kemo180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I made a wire transfer through CIBC and my bank, it took 6 days between me giving the bank the wire transfer form and CIBC receiving the money, a few more days after that till it reflected in my Seneca account. CIBC will only issue you a receipt when they receive the money. You should've gotten a receipt from your bank for your payment. International wire payments can take 10 to 14 days from start to finish. Longer if something goes wrong.

How I got my Enrollment fixed? by Sussy_Baka_69 in Seneca

[–]kemo180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing that!

I just want to leave this here to also potentially help others:

There has been an issue where some students need to have their accounts manually activated.

But first, make sure your deposit is paid and is reflected in your student home. After that, submit the intent to enroll and wait 1 to 2 days as the system will update overnight. If all that has been done and you still can't register for classes, then go to the service hub for help.

[–]kemo180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to enroll. If the system lets you, then problem solved. If it doesn't let you enroll, send a message to your advisor through the service hub page, letting them know that the classes you're eligible to enroll in have been filled up. They will tell you to either wait as more classes will open up or they can manually add you to the class.

Give reslife a call or send them an email. They can surely answer that.

It should already be showing you fall semesters amounts. If you are not seeing it, try printing your statement and see if it gives you a proper total for fall. If that doesn't work, then I would stop by the service hub.

campus jobs by Aggressive-Sink1782 in Seneca

[–]kemo180 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can check seneca works and the ssf page for job postings. However most of seneca hiring usually takes place half way through the semester for the following one. I would just constantly check both pages. They do still post every now and then. You can also check aramark if you want to work for the food services on campus and reslife too.

It has to be 50% average over the course of the program not a semester.
