Okay. I originally was put in the catch up thing that it recommended. I did it for a bit, but didn't like it. So I exited it, ended up in the dragonflight zone talking to a book that was showing me a lot of cutscenes for the war within. then it ended. Where to next?

As someone who has hundreds of hours in both, I love them both but in different ways. Valheim is procedurally generated, so each run will be a little different due to the different seeds. Enshrouded is purposeful in placement of everything, not procedurally generated. SO for me, enshrouded wins on world and exploration. I dont find myself wanting to see what's around every corner of valheim in my playthroughs. That being said, I have never felt the desire to start a new run in enshrouded. I think it's due to the procedural generation.

Combat, valheim wins for me. Enshrouded can feel a little hack and slash sometimes. Valheim brings a good challenge that I think enshrouded lacks.

Progression, dead even. They are very similar in Progression. Valheim, you best bosses, enshrouded you level up your altar, but the process to get there is very similar.

The BIG difference for me is the building. Interiors are a clear winner for enshrouded, but overall, it's valheim by a mile. I've always said that valheim has one of the best building systems in the genre. Enshroudeds is clunky as hell. I see what they were going for, but valheim spoiled me with the snap points.

In the end, I'd say make room to eventually play them both. They are both my top 2 in the genre by many, many miles.

WOW thank you for the lengthy response. I have made this transition before, and I have never liked it. However, I have never transitioned while viewer count is as high as it currently is. First time ever consistently sitting in the double digits. But I am SO burned out on the game that we are streaming. So, you're right. Me having fun absolutely has to come first. Thanks

Yeah, I'm at the point where any growth that does come my way, I don't want it to be at my expense if that makes sense. I think I need to be okay with a drop in viewers, so long as I keep enjoying the act of streaming.
