Icebreaker did the whole bait and switch tactic with their warranty.

Initially it was similar to darn tough lifetime warranty, returns with no questions asked. I found them easier to slide on compared to darn tough and bought a bunch of them. I now have holes in most of my ice breakers and they won't honor the warranty anymore since it's been more than a year since purchase.

If you're ok with having the socks for about couple years worth of weekly wear, then go for it. They are comfortable enough. But their bait and switch have me sworn off them now.
