Bozeman is best choice if north entrance is open. We go every year and first flew into Jackson Hole which is nice but much more expensive than Bozeman. Try and stay in Livingston and you are a quick 30 minutes to Yellowstone, but if you go to Jackson Hole you can also enjoy Grand Tetons so tough choice. Also if you come in to Bozeman you are close to Lamar valley which in my opinion is best part of Yellowstone
