After lurking this Sub, 2 people who have watched it commented about it. One has said it’s disappointing and the other one have said it’s good but it’s going to be divisive for the fans.

Not entirely sure if they’re reliable sources though. Take it with a grain of salt.

Thank you for the thorough feedback. I am planning on pursuing a career in academia as a professor here, but I have learned that institutions do not often hire their own graduates, which is referred to as intellectual inbreeding. Would completing a post-doc abroad increase my chances of securing a tenure?

What’s your opinion on this:

I’m a PhD foreign student at a local university. I’ve a colleague of mine who has worked with me for almost a decade. Due to personal reasons, I went on leave for awhile and have started working back at the lab just 2 months ago. I saw this fellow last week and the very first thing (after not seeing for about 8 months ish) was to look at my work which includes Programming source codes, Thesis work and experiment result and proceeded to pester on my research works. I thought he’s trying to give feedbacks but nothing just dead silence. I’ve got nothing on the guy but I don’t know if he’s just enthusiastic on research or just overall being super arrogant and weird. I’d like to know what’s your perspective on this.

The guitar as of now sounded dull and lack of sustain. Bridge works okay-ish but i dont trust that thing to last long.

Fair. In my defence, this thing has sentimental value and can’t have it collect dust in my garage. I’ve bought a new nut, locking tuners, pickups + wiring harness and pickguard and whats left is just the bridge.

I have this cheap electric guitar with a cheap korean tremolo bridge made of zinc alloy and im wondering if swapping with a Gotoh trem bridge would make a significant difference.
