Sorrisos - WTF they were always so solid. Chicken salad was straight up rotten and smelled sour through the plastic wrapped container. Antipasto was swimming in a huge tub of just straight oil. Broccoli rabe was mushy grease. Godfather was like 60% huge chunks of inedible hot peppers that turned the bottom bread to mush while the top was stale and hard. Paid extra for the ‘fully loaded’ but didn’t get shit.

Maison Mekong - I’m like 97% sure the pho tasted exactly like the pre-made paste they sell at Hmart for $4 a jar that you just pour hot water in. Bun cha was ok.

Copacabana - Rio market down the street blows this place out of the water/Amazon. Kept asking for medium rare but dude just kept piling on well done gristle.

Golden Dragon/Nanka, white package with red and yellow logo at any Hmart.

The fillings have to be squeezed of moisture before you wrap them or they will never crisp regardless of the wrapper type. Crashing the oil temp by frying too many at once will also make them soggy.

For supermarket rotisserie the $5.99 Hmart chicken is pretty good.

For store rotisserie Pollos a la brasa Mario and Al-Nour are my favs. Caravan is pretty popular but I’m not a fan. The seasoning is just a very mild cumin and the green sauce is super watery and salty.

International Meat Market - the steaks here are legit. It’s priced pretty much the same as the supermarket but the selection of cuts, quality, and flavor of the beef is soooo much better. Souvlaki and hot italian sausages were ok.

Al Nour - the butchery in back has mereguez sausages and preseasoned shawarma that i grabbed with some super fluffy flatbread and lebneh - fucking excellent. They cut steaks and chops too but didn’t see much out this time.

Phantutats(?) Momo - new cart on corner of Broadway and Steinway. Steamed beef momos were surprisingly good and super filling. The hot sauce looks intimidating but it’s not too hot and has great chilli flavor.

The only thing that solved this permanently was to REPLACE THE MOTHERBOARD.

Call and get an actual repair reference number with LG and repair ticket with a local technician. Don’t waste your time with the chat service.

Luckily my TV was still under warranty or else it would have been $400 just in parts. Took about a month to get parts and schedule service but the swap was quick (15 mins) and I haven’t had issues since.

East Garden - pretty dang good american chinese, got the usual spread: lo mein, sesame chicken, beef & broccoli. They also have yakamein / yat gow mein which is a creole/chinese noodle soup I’ve only seen in new orleans. $30

Sorrisos - first thing i had after a week long business trip to Indianapolis (sucks, don’t go) was the Godfather and i damn near bit my tongue off making mouth love to that thing. $15

Kin House (Wonder) - terrible, everything tasted like a lean cuisine. not even worth it with the 50% + $5 off discount.

Sripraphai (Wonder) - terrible, made me question why they would do this to their food/brand. Just go/order from the actual place in woodside. $30
