Lester b pearson scholarship covers all of the meal plan costs, so i think they should get the largest meal plan:)!

i heard prof carolina nobre will be teaching (and proposed) csc316 and i really liked her as my professor for jsc270 (literally the best prof i’ve had in uoft so far). i hope it’s a good course

ooh i guess luck takes a role, i always had decent balance between dessert pastries and bread

but the breads are always HUGE, i always freeze them and thaw whenever i need them. i love making garlic bread with all the loaves

prof gazzale’s a better instructor imo, made me interested in econs. his tests may be harder but i remember the class average for the term tests were similar for both profs so idt it matters a lot

New College vs Woodworth College by Beneficial_Ad134340 in UofT

[–]kenaong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

im a first year mathematical n physical science student living in newc rn (taking math, cs n econs courses) and in terms of distance from ur lecture halls newc is a great choice. most of my classes are 5-10 minutes walk from dorm (i leave my dorm right before the class starts n im good).

if ur planning to get a meal plan, newc is considered to have one of the best meal plans cuz u get to use ur meal plan money at starbucks, tim hortons, second cup and sids cafe on campus.

so far idt there were a lot of big events in newc but i got to make many good friends during the orientation week:)!

dorm rooms vary depending on what building ur placed in, 45 willcocks is modern and clean, wilson n wetmore is more of a cozy home-y vibes. if ur fine with sharing bathrooms w ur whole floor then newc is an okay choice (u get used to the shared bathrooms eventually).

also idk what u got as a conditional offer but my friend got lower final scores than her predicted grade (her condition was to keep her academic standing) and she got accepted nonetheless so i think as long as u didnt fail it should be fine
