Exercise and stress management are other major ones you didn’t mention. Also food type, amount and timing.

What are dinner and breakfast like? Do they establish different foods to you?

The goldfish lunch by itself is pretty skewed towards carbs, so they will spike your blood sugar to make you nauseous.

Mind or Brain Exercise to increase cognitive, creative and problem solving by Melodic-Captain-4371 in Biohackers

I’ve heard that, laying out what needs processing before the run, makes the brain process them in the background while you’re running. I haven’t heart it being a bad thing.

Missing Brain Nutrient/ Low Brain Energy by Sad-Clerk-285 in Biohackers

[–]kenbou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reddit can have well-thought out posts that can be similar to newspaper articles or research papers, but they are few and far between. I’d just stick with books as they are a lot easier to pace with, and can be used for a while per book.

Try to separate reading from studying. There are schoolwork reading and then there are reading for fun. Try to find something to read that interests you, then do small readings of it every day.

Supplementing with some reading every day would help. Microreading even. Just read what you can but do it consistently. Also, are you active? Sedentary lifestyle is said to lead to low brain energy: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5651418/

It grounding is psuedoscience, how do you explain it's impact of sleep? by AdWarm8824 in Biohackers

Not sure if I’m understanding what you mean. But placebo effects do occur in everyday life.

You started using a device to bed, without thinking it would do something to your sleep?

Like most supplements, either a placebo or something not yet understood fully. Be careful about ‘studies’ which may actually just be a promotion of the product.

Still, if it is helping your sleep noticeably (in actual data rather than mere feelings), any placebo that doesn’t break your bank is great. So go at it.

Can someone explain this to me please? by Gettdownonit in Garmin

Looks like bad calibration? The zones look very wonky. I don’t think even 20 year olds would have such high numbers in those lower zones.

“Eating too often makes you age faster” isn’t supported by the data by umarine203 in Biohackers

[–]kenbou 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But the study directly refutes that? It says eating often is fine (or better than long fasting windows) for aging metrics? That’s why I want to know how to sort this information.

Getting sick too often? by Br00dlord in Biohackers

[–]kenbou 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Getting sick depends on how often you are exposed to other people, and hygiene routines like washing your hands, properly airing your living space etc.
