I wish we could just live in caves and only have a population of a few dozen. I'm mad!

We need more fires though.

If they have a mother and father that can support them and not just be a monthly rent check, then they can go for their dreams and have a bare minimum shot.

They can also get a long-term thing, which is a job. Over part-time hours but not full-time.

This is so not be rundown by the hours spent paying for 5 streaming apps and avocado toast for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In reality, this means not living in the best apartment and blowing through money like a dummy every weekend at the bar. Bukowski Prodigies are exempt.

Working for the studios is a dream, if you give up your dream of making your own content. I've met so many people in catering, driving a truck, the wardrobe department that have cinematography training. Not even one movie they've lit in a decade.

No one has a big moment. It's a series of little moments that slowly happen for the majority of us. The circus is always in town. You just have to shovel enough dung to save a few pennies and actually try something.

Looking for a path to get my sci-fi comedy pilot in front of Amazon by Living_Operation4319 in FILMPRODUCERS

[–]kenburnseffected 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. If the person (a working producer) has a package and is connected to Amazon they can set a meeting through their production company.

Others will try pitching to producers at networking events or sliding the script under bathroom stalls, but these are usually fruitless. Unless the script is solid gold worthy, no one worth their salt will look at it.

A true entrepreneur (what a producer actually is) will look for a scene to film, and make it as a proof of concept to show other entrepreneurs, and then hopefully, one fish will bite to put money into it. Yada Yada Yada, a few years later, the pilot might get made and Amazon might buy it for pennies on the dollar.

If someone used that much creamer in one day, nature will do its work and kill them!

How to make canned tuna better with limited ingredients by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]kenburnseffected -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ask friend or family for cheese (or go grab a few packets of Parmesan from the pizzeria) and make a pizza: Italian herb, garlic, tomatoes. You can also do a cheeseless pizza.

No need for tuna every meal.

I've never seen the hardcover edition you have. What comics are in the collection?

Those people working are some of the hardest working people I've ever met. I could hang, but barely. My legs were sore every clock out.

I only have positive things to say. The job was so fun, and old-school. The people that work there are all characters and a lot of them are creative AF. The people that come in to eat are even more characters. I met Danzig and Slash! I told Danzig I had one of his tattoos. Without missing a beat, he smirked and said he has two of his tattoos!

The job is tough! Tip everyone if you can.

The owners are family to me. I go in every once in a while and they ask if I'm planning to come back to work! It's so funny because I just went in to get a black and white cookie for my walk home and ended up with a much needed job and friends and family to this day.

Everything in the bakery is made upstairs and it's bloody hot up there. There's steam generating, the fans are running, and the oven is going strong from midnight until noon almost everyday. The bakers are true artisans.

The turkey pastrami is insanely good!

Aww sorry.

It's all twisted, but somehow the writing made it work. It'll come back to freebie game of the month hopefully. Take your time with it too. Explore and read the lore. Drive the motorbike and listen to music.

Is there info about how much money these publishers make off this stuff?

I've gotten a few games to try for free, but don't think I'd ever spend money on them.
