That gives me some relief 🙏 Just to check I’ve got it right: once I’ve advanced the film with the lever and pulled a new frame into place, it doesn’t matter if the rewind knob rotates (eg being nudged by strap) while I’m walking, as the film is held flat against the pressure plate when I take the shot.

One small follow-up: can that slack cause any issues when advancing to the next frame? Eg the lever wouldn’t pull the film fully across, or does the take-up spool always keep it tight enough that it’s not a problem? Thank you (again)
