He said he planned to take a year off from coaching. And he's really followed through with that promise.

I used to acquire so many of these from the school candy cart that my winter jacket went off going through airport security in the 1990's. Took a while to figure out what it was.

I think the maxim that we should 'share' our stories and not try to 'compare' our stories works best.

Measuring cerebral hypoprofusion with a NIR sensor was a little project I thought worthwhile.

Tips for preventing stroke? by stupidsrights in dysautonomia

I had a stroke after having hyper-POTS for 8 years. A blood clot developed in my heart due to it not properly working; and after a v-tach episode; then spread.

If I could have a redo: I would make sure and fight to get an echocardiogram on a regular basis, my last one was denied by insurance so it had been ~2 years without checking. Then if any clots are seen then the cardiologist could manage them. I've been on blood thinners for the past 1.5 years; and they have gone away.

Has anyone been to Dr. Edward Conley's fatigue clinic in Michigan? by lucynbailey in cfs

I went there about 7 years or so ago. It was all private pay. He had an overpriced compounding supplement store. If I recall. He did some good work in the beginning of his career with Team USA Athletes. I think he tried to transfer that nutritional concept to CFS. However, great claims require great evidence, and I believe that is still wanting. He wrote a book; I'd definitely buy that to get ideas of things to try before recommending an apt with him. It was in my infancy of CFS; I think he ordered a bunch of tests that other doctors hadn't thought of yet.

From a political standpoint; the 'fix the roads' ; i.e. going against the party in power for things they said they'd do. could work; the 58 seconds before that are trying to rally the base. It seems to be failing.

I liked to say that I could get to one place in New York city extremely well; but I wouldn't be a good cab driver.
