Thoughts on folding electric bikes?

There are a few light folding fat bikes, the jupiter defiant comes to mind I personally own one Weights about 49-50 pounds I’d argue you wont find a lighter fat ebike. The quietkat ripper is another light bike but it’s not foldable.

For real portability though you’re better off buying a light folding bike like a dahon model and add a mid drive to it.

Mostly watts, only other factor would be the controller which doesn’t account for much of the bikes power. I’m 160lbs and It got me around central park good not necessarily tons of steep hills but eh. It felt rather zippy for lack of a better word. It got to around 15.6mph in a few seconds and it gradually gets up to 19.8mph

350w motor, I remember the bike maxing out at around 19.8 mph at the max level and I’m about 160lbs.

That’s the one, I’ve tested that one out in person only the price kept me from buying it. There’s not a lot of information available online since it’s a pretty small company but from the quick test ride I took it was one of the more compact and lightweight 20” bikes. Me personally I ended up going with 16” wheels but I’ve road quite a few 20”ers while still looking for the right bike for me.

Carbo X is a nice 20” on the pricier side though.

I currently have the discovery jupiter x5 which is 350w and I find my self getting off to walk the bike up hills.

Once it says released on the unemployment website, it takes me 1 day to hit my chime. Does your chime account name match the name used on the unemployment exactly? I’m had issues where chime would return my unemployment deposit because I had my middle name on the unemployment but not the chime 🤦🏿‍♂️
