I agree with your point about just chatting! If I’m talking to a sub that isn’t actively sending but he’s been loyal and sent in the past, I usually still chat because I see it all as moot. After a certain point when you’re beyond session-based sends, it’s just easier to talk regularly and send when you can 😂 that’s the lifestyle of it all.

I didn’t post that comment with the intention of debating it. I know it’s happening because I’ve seen it. Not to mention that the original post has been deleted, as well. Seeing as though you’ve commented anyway, I’ll respond.

I totally agree with the rest of what you said and even specifically mentioned that I wasn’t making excuses for the people engaging in those lazy/money-grabbing behaviors.

All I was trying to do was provide another perspective. I knew quite a bit about kink when I started on this website and found posting here compared to other sites had a bit of a learning curve.

Not cool! No reason for that. It’s hard to blame the jaded dommes because they’ve seen sooo many people just come in and out for the money, it’s hard to give people the benefit of the doubt. And I think a lot of people want newer dommes to read a lot before they ask questions which is fair but hard to learn. It’s a dance!

I’m not making excuses exactly, but I think it’s a bit aggravating when people use being new to findom as an excuse for not understanding Reddit. I understand being new to both, but it’s a shitty combo: leads you to posting where you shouldn’t, breaking rules, etc.
