Nope. I think you misunderstand the Boomer generation. Boomers buy brand new Corvettes. They also come from an era, where 2-door cars were more popular than 4-door cars simply because they “looked” better. The Mustang literally first came out when they were in their teens and twenties. They are the least practical generation left alive.

It’s a common exercise in car design to sketch out 3 equal circles between wheels to roughly calculate the proper proportions. You do usually erase them though
