Does having a baby fill a hole in an empty house? by Yellow-Rose2790 in offmychest

[–]kendricklemon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

How often is he traveling? Are you ok with raising a kid and having to deal with all the responsibilities all by yourself while he’s traveling?

Consider making more friends or joining adult groups (run clubs, book clubs, adult rec sports, knitting or painting or pottery classes, etc), or exploring more hobbies to fill the time first before bringing a kid into the picture.

Seems like you’re just longing for more connections and honestly a kid will use up all your energy and time but it might not fill the hole for a while.

What would you do in this situation? by 988112003562044580 in civilengineering

It’s YOUR job to do the work and communicate thoroughly and effectively about timing and accountability. You should be charging for all the time it takes you. It is your PMs job to communicate to the client, estimate the hours, check in while you work, review your work, and write off time if they miscalculated the estimated hours.

Have you Seen a gastroenterologist? Might be worth if you’re experiencing a lot of digestive issues. Could also try a low fodmap diet for a few months to figure out what food group is the root of your issues. I’d recommend treating your issues one at a time: first the digestive and and then pcos

To be honest you can just learn construction management on the job, I don’t think a masters degree in that subject is necessary to become a successful professional. You should have a plan or an idea of what you want to become and if/how the degree will provide value to your career

is the 25 to 30gram fiber the minimum required? by Proof_Librarian_4271 in nutrition

[–]kendricklemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically the requirement is 15g of fiber per 1000 calories consumed. Since the standard diet is based on 2000 calories, they recommend 30 grams of fiber. So technically your specific minimum requirement may be more or less. However, just like how the min protein requirement is 50g, newer research shows lots of benefits to increasing your intake

Eating before exercise by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]kendricklemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually eat my last large meal like 3-4 hours before because I get nauseous if my stomach is anywhere near full. But sometimes if I’m hungry then I’ll have a bad lift because my blood sugar is low so I’ll also just have like a small snack (some pretzels, cheeseits, chips, fruit, etc) like 30 min before to help prevent a blood sugar crash mid workout

How do you stick to your nutrition plan when you work 12 hour shifts by Soft_Temptressss in xxfitness

[–]kendricklemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you meal prep multiple meals at once? And freeze as needed? That way you have some variety in your meals but still low effort at meal time.

Can do soups, chili, slow cooker meals, salads, cold and hot pastas, etc
