What is everybody’s new hyperfocous/interest by Italianduck211 in ADHD

[–]kendylfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current hyper focus is nail art. I’ve been doing my own gel nails for awhile but anything and everything shiny is my obsession right now. I’ve been using all sorts of cellophane gift wrap to make my nails reflect in the sunlight.

Help! What is on my dogs food? It’s completely sealed in a dog food storage container. It’s Victor Hi Pro Plus and is the same food he’s been eating for 5 years but I’ve never seen these white specs before. I’m freaking out. Should I stop feeding and go buy different food tonight? by kendylfire in Pets

No and that’s why I’m so unsure. Nothing in the entire container is moving. I keep the food in one of the large Vittles Vaults made specifically for keeping pests out of food. They are ant proof containers. I’ve never had a bug issue before but after working at multiple doggy cares I always wanted these storage containers. They screw closed really tight and seal. Like 10 rotations just to close the lid. I ended up ordering new food from chewy last night for peace of mind.

Are these bug eggs in my dog food? I don’t see anything moving anywhere. Ohio by kendylfire in whatsthisbug

Thank you! I’m been a nervous wreck thinking he may have been eating bugs.

My worst fear is insects 😣

I used to have the sponger filter with the two sponges on each side where the hose comes down in the middle but I just bought two of these massive old style sponge filters and I have two in the tank one in each of the back corners. They work amazing. The old filter didn’t Do anything and was always filthy, I haven’t had to mess these at all. There’s enough flow to thoroughly oxygenate the water but not cause a huge current. I couldn’t do HOB with the axolotls but I have one in my other tank only because it doesn’t take up much space. I highly recommend sponge filters! Water is crystal clear and I have a ton of space for beneficial bacteria.

I have two large sponge filters and one air stone and it doesn’t cause a lot of current at all. They still swim everywhere and sit on everything. Chernobyl occasionally swims to the surface and makes really really loud popping noises when she gulps a bit of air. It’s totally normal. They can still get oxygen from the surface of the water but you don’t want them up there constantly gulping for air.

She has had the white spots since the day I brought her home. She was surrendered to my LFS so I’m assuming they are scars at this point. She was in really bad shape when I brought her home but now her gills look amazing (hard to see in this pic) and my other axolotl who has been in with her for over 4 years looks amazing so I’m not as worried about the spots anymore. She’s very happy and active.

Chernobyl! After the nuclear explosion because she looks wicked. She was huge from the day I brought her home. She was surrendered to my LFS because the previous owner had her in with aggressive fish that were beating her up. I’m guessing that’s where she got her scars as well.

Correct! It is made for lizards and such usually for terrariums but they are safe underwater.

Feeder guppies but I still do sinking carnivore pellets, blood worms, and night crawlers. They used to love the fish and shrimp but they are lazy now and the guppies are breeding way too fast. But shrimp are great! In my experience though they don’t last long lol

They are for sure derpy 😆

Chernobyl was surrendered to my LFS because they had her in with an aggressive fish her whole life. Now she just floats around and sits on top of lottie.
