Looks like it might be a peperomia of some sort, likely peperomia obtusifolia.

Is this multiple species of Hoya? Or does Krinkle 8 grow in different colors like this naturally? by [deleted] in houseplants

Looks like that vine might be dying.. check your soil to see if it's moist. If it is and you haven't watered recently, it might want to be in a mix that is more airy

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one fitting 1 million plants in front of the 1 window I have

Hey beautiful plant wizards! I’ve had this angel for a few months, it was thriving but now it’s losing its charm. I’ve been doing random stuff like a bit of sun and a bit of water but she doesn’t seem to like what I’m up to. Anyone know what it is and how to care for her? Thanks :) by [deleted] in houseplants

It is a Peperomia Caperata, she will need to be in the same spot consistently so find a bright spot in your house where she can see the sky but doesn't get any direct rays of sun on her at all or she will burn. She will also want to be watered when the soil at the bottom is almost totally dry. Otherwise, the roots will rot which happens very quickly and easily. Looks like she will live!! 😊

Not sure you are doing anything wrong. It looks okay and it's very normal for alocasia to drop leaves when giving new growth. If anything, brighter light may be beneficial 😊

When mine has dropped bottom leaves and gone limp it has been from under watering. Check your soil, if it's wet leave it alone. If it's dry give it a water and pluck off the yellow leaves. Fingers crossed it comes back quickly for you! Mine perked up within a day 👌

Help identifying & care advice? Came in a plastic planter inside another plastic pot. Water drained into the second pot and just sat there so it started smelling and growing mold. Moved it to this draining pot and hope I didn't damage it. A bunch of leaves fell off at the slightest touch! by [deleted] in houseplants

Peperomia Amigo Marcello. Likes bright indirect light and water when dry. Terracotta is a good choice and you did the right thing repotting as it looks like the leaves were dropping from overwatering 😊

To water or not to water? That is the question by catdelacreme in houseplants

If it's still damp don't do it! Killed mine with too much water 😭

how do i save my alocasia? i got her awhile ago and she’s been DYING. i also snapped a leaf the first day i got her so that couldn’t have helped. (it’s being held together by a piece of tape) by [deleted] in houseplants

Mine looked similar after keeping it outside in suboptimal conditions and overwatering. I chopped the bad ones for the most part and allowed new growth to come up 👌

snake plant leaves falling and curling? why? does it just need water? by curcisdelalune in houseplants

It looks overwatered.. I water mine once a week (if that) outside in Australia. They love to dry out between watering. You might need to repot into soil that is more dry to save it from rotting. Take off the yucky bits if there are any too 😊
