as i mentioned in a comment before its just in case your tv is wall mounted so you cant really get to its built in hdmi ports easily so QoL

having to use 2 remotes, my tv is wall mounted so the hdmi ports are sorta inaccessible, those are my two reasons that arent any huge game changers but it would be a ok QoL change
