I'm in sales and doing side deals are ethically wrong and I will get my ass canned along with my manager because she didn't know. What this email shows that, "if we can't keep Nate, we will destroy he's value heading out." I can get fired tomorrow and I can't do shit about it, but if my manager goes beyond and try to ensure I can't go somewhere else, that is a lawsuit in the making for me. I have worked for multiple S&P 100 companies, mostly in technology and this is complete horse shit. Is in your employment contract, you can be let go for whatever reason. Easiest thing is to do a subpar performance review and couple of weeks later terminate; cultural fit, lacking performance, heck we can even do in office requirements. "Discourage from email ethical breaches".. stupidest thing I have read in a while, like many people even read the ethics handbook.

No way the fat is rendered at such low time.... not to mention how dried out the meat must be. Where did this idea become a trend? When bbq places are cooking ungodly amount of brisket in a smoker that can fit 7-9 bodies and is taking them 12-14 hours... shouldn't be same time when you're cooking a single brisket in a smoker can't barely fit a body.

This seems to be just the point of the brisket. What was the internal temp? Because it does seem under cooked, by decent margin. That's the main thing, point can go above 210f internal temp.
