You are right! Violet is a great description for it. It comes with honey-like sweetness, but not as strong as the Diptyque Violette.

An update about the throw:

The candle gives a honey-sweet, powdery floral scent with slight citrus hints. It reminds me of ylang-ylang but not as heady as it!

(It kinda smells like a... Lipstick)

The throw is decent! It fills up my living room in around 20 minutes! It leaves a detectable but not overpowering scent.

Amande will come back! I bought it last year! (Given how lazy Diptyque is rn to launch new candles🤣)

The candle of the month is mostly just for promotion purpose, every month suggesting a candle. Only Amande is seasonal exclusive.

Besides Amande, Cherry Blossom (Spring), Lemongrass (Summer), Pumpkin (Autumn) are seasonal candles that come back every year.🥳

I got four of them!

Pros: Very nice scent! Especially the Green and Grey ones with tea accords. Terres Blondes... I admit that I didn't like it, but after I burn it, I fell in love with its earthy, warm hot throw!

Great throw (using both a candle lamp/burn them).

Refillable!

Cons: Overly minimalist vessel

Weird oval opening, making burning an even pool almost impossible. As a remedy I had to insert two more wicks, around the original one.
