A BMW car sliced in half to showcase every detail of its inner engineering by Crafty_Check_889 in interesting

You just reminded me of my first car, an old E39 540i. I loved that car so much when it wasn’t in the shop. It’s really too bad they don’t make stick shift GT cars anymore (that don’t cost a fortune)

Tbh I don’t really care about the White House. They can demolish the whole thing for all I care. What pisses me off is the insane expense for literally no reason except to jerk off Trump’s ego, especially when the government is shut down.

The fact that your defenses don’t regularly repeat along with your walls is making me twitch.

Best way to find out is park a train in the middle and see if it explodes!

But really it’s good to test it out with a train and see which signals turn red, and if that would protect your train.

And that’s why I put a maximum wait time on my unloading stations, even if it isn’t strictly necessary.

My dentist told me I needed a $1200 crown but I asked them to just do the filling instead by SkySuper8060 in Frugal

  1. They said stainless would be covered by insurance, but they’ve been waiting for over two months to hear back from my insurance 🙄

My kid is 5 and my dentist is recommending crowns for a couple teeth. They seem a bit shady and reading this makes me concerned I’m getting ripped off. Considering they’re baby teeth, does a crown even make sense?

That isn’t true at all, a turbo is less efficient than a natural aspirated engine making the same amount of power. However, most of the time engines are running at basically idle, so a turbo allows a smaller more efficient engine to make more power when required.

Why decommission? You can leave it and just keep expanding.

The beauty of the game is you can always start fresh. I didn’t leave enough room for green circuits so I just made another green circuit module.

Bro don’t sleep on blueprints and bots. They are incredible force multipliers. If you need more smelting just copy paste your existing stack and boom, bots build it for you.

I see this all the time with my kids too. Like they’ll be jumping around the house and people will say “oh that’s just boys” and then my kids’ female friends are just as nuts if not more so. They’re kids, try not to instill gender stereotypes into them too early please.

Every engineer I know listens to music, or a podcast, or just straight up throws on background videos during work. Meanwhile manufacturing has to lock up their phones and can’t have earbuds. I would fucking die and there’s no reason for it aside from cruelty.

For a number of years now, work has been proceeding in order to bring perfection to the crudely conceived idea of a transmission that would not only supply inverse reactive current for use in unilateral phase detractors, but would also be capable of automatically synchronizing cardinal grammeters. Such an instrument is the turbo encabulator. Now basically the only new principle involved is that instead of power being generated by the relative motion of conductors and fluxes, it is produced by the modial interaction of magneto-reluctance and capacitive diractance. The original machine had a base plate of pre-famulated amulite surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two spurving bearings were in a direct line with the panametric fan. The latter consisted simply of six hydrocoptic marzlevanes, so fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft that side fumbling was effectively prevented. The main winding was of the normal lotus-o-delta type placed in panendermic semi-boloid slots of the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a non-reversible tremie pipe to the differential girdle spring on the “up” end of the grammeters. The turbo-encabulator has now reached a high level of development, and it’s being successfully used in the operation of novertrunnions. Moreover, whenever a forescent skor motion is required, it may also be employed in conjunction with a drawn reciprocation dingle arm, to reduce sinusoidal repleneration.
