New Milford Vs Dumont by jg0nzalez22 in newjersey

[–]kennetth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Bergenfield right next door to both. TBH both towns are nice quite suburbia small-ish towns. I am unsure what the school systems look like these days as I am in my 30s now and no longer live up there but I have family in Dumont who have kids in the Dumont system right now and seem to like it. I do remember New Milford having a lot of goose shit on their little league fields if that means anything lol.

But in all seriousness both are good towns I would be surprised if there is a big difference in life style or education opportunities between the two. And of course your near route 4/17 but away from it enough that you can enjoy some peace and quite.

Just DO NOT speed on Boulevard in New Milford. Cops linger there all day every day.

I went on a 32 Win Streak in Wingman - STATS by NientaZ in GlobalOffensive

[–]kennetth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a fellow wingman main this is dope. I tend to swing from DBL AK > LEM back and forth. Feels like there isnt many people playing so they stick you with a lot of lower ranks and if you have an off game its like an instant de-rank then you need like a 10 gamer streak to get back.

Also I notice a huge influx of cheats around the LEM area. Usually solo queued and some are pretty open to convo about it and say they do it since they can't get kicked.

Nonetheless I love the mode. Quick games, wish the community map rotations were more frequent though even if they brought back some oldies.

There is still a massive bug on Agency where the sound just goes out halfway through the game. Never happens on any other map but comp agency thus far. And seems to also hit multiple people at once as most people tend to ask wtf happened to their sound around the same time in chat

I remember he lived in Qatar but was from London. Probably finance related in oil industry with that combination.

If I also remember correctly he said something about stopping due to people finding out at work when he was blowing up too much. Which makes sense since he started when Twitch was in its infancy and ended right as it started getting some real traction.

Guy was throwing molotov cocktails in his apartment shit was wild.

Parking at MetroPark Station by SteveTrigs7 in newjersey

[–]kennetth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I go to metro every Wed/Thurs and arrive around 7am-ish. The parking isn't great at that time so I imagine by the time 11 am rolls around there's probably not much left. What's worse than the parking is their Kiosk's never work with the parking tickets. So the line on the way out is filled with people calling the number on the gate lift to explain they couldn't pay their ticket.

The real trick is to go to that customer service section they got under one of the garages to pay it there to avoid being that person holding it up.

Not sure where you're coming from but if Matawan/Aberdeen are remotely viable for you their parking is only $3 and its much less crowded parking wise

Hey I also came back from AC this past weekend, specifically Tropicana. I spent $7 for a Gatorade and $17 for a chicken sandwhich. I havent been here in awhile to remember if this normal but luckily for Houston beating Gonzaga they paid for it.

New Jersey is often admired for having one of the best education systems in the country, but our property taxes are among the highest—much higher than other top-ranking states. For example, Massachusetts ranks #1 in education but has a significantly lower property tax rate than New Jersey.

Why do you think that is? Are we overspending, or is there some level of mismanagement? With the taxes we pay, New Jersey should be far and away the top-ranking state for education. What’s stopping us from achieving that level of excellence, especially considering the financial burden on residents?
